HLON brings two national olympiads for school and high school students at one platform. With the addition of the AI olympiad, HLON will now conduct both the Artificial Intelligence and Computational Linguistics Olympiad every year to select the national team of Nepal to represent our country at the international platform.

Artificial Intelligence olympiad will require prior knowledge of programming and background in computer science while there is no requirement for participating in the computational linguistics olympiad
Students from Class 8 to 12 (all examination boards) and Gap Year students are eligible to participate.

The national winners represented Nepal in IOL, 2024 in Brasília, Brazil and IOAI, 2024 in Burgas Bulgaria
IOL 2025 is happening in Taipei, Taiwan and IOAI, 2025 is happening in Beijing, China. National winners will get an opportunity to represent Nepal at IOL and IOAI.
